Purchasing the concealer and highlight separately would set me back $50 though. I do think the Match Stix Trios are workable, however I would get more use by picking and choosing which matchsticks I like individually ($25 each) rather than purchasing the trio. Tarte Cosmetics Custom Beauty Kit May 2023 Price Breakdown + Review Blending out the highlight with my fingers however worked the best. The contour was hard to blend I tried my Beauty Blender, ELF contour brush, and ended up using my finger which isn’t ideal. The finish on the concealer was okay, but the coverage was too sheer for my liking. In terms of easy to use, the concealer took some work to blend but wasn’t as difficult as the contour. In terms of longevity, the concealer and contour started to fade around the 4-Hour mark which isn’t that long, but the highlight seemed to stay put for most of the day. Blended out swatches of Suede, Espresso, and Sinamon (Top to Bottom) Does the Match Stix Trio last all day? I typically like my highlighter to appear as a shining beacon of hope (kidding), but I do understand this is personal preference. The highlight stick (in Sinamon) is really pretty, and blends out nicely with your fingers, for a light natural glow. The concealer is closer to my skintone, so it doesn’t highlight under my eyes at all. The formula of the concealer (in Suede) looks dry on the skin (my skin type is normal but very oily in the t-zone area) and both the contour shade (in Espresso) and concealer is hard to blend. I don’t think the Match Stix Trio is worth the $54 price tag. I’ve been trying the trio for quite a while and overall I’m not impressed. I was drawn to the magnetic easy-to-use packaging. ![]() The Match Stix Trio in deep 400 includes a concealer shade in Suede, contour shade in Espresso and highlight shade in Sinamon. I swatched the trio shades in store at a Sephora VIB Rouge event just days after its release. Of course, I was interested in the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (that’s a mouthfull), but it was very hard to decide what shade I would need, so I decided to go with the Match Stix Trio. It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to purchase from the Fenty Beauty collection.
